No. 115 WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH WORRY? WITH KYLEY & EVA

Worry is pervasive and uncomfortable--but it often feels impossible to avoid.

We dive in on worry in typical Kyley & Eva fashion, in a meandering conversation that is equal parts esoteric as it is practical.

This last week has been a fucking lot. We hope you are holding your loved ones close and enjoying each other and experiencing some thing good for your nervous system and some joy and some love. So give yourself some credit, if you feel overwhelmed or if you feel like sad or scared or confused - it has been all a lot.

Some topics discussed:

✨ Not being like defined and controlled by worry

✨ Where worry and fear live in our bodies

✨ Constant Lowgrade Worry

✨ Worry Creating Busyness

✨ Being an oak tree and not playing into the worry of squirrels

We interpret worry as if we’re doing something helpful for ourselves and it gives us a sense of control and we’re just trying our damnedest to be okay.

I think most of us carry like a deeply baked-in story that it is actively dangerous to not worry
