No. 102 Eva is in Taiwan, Kyley is Monstrous

Eva spends 2 weeks in a single hotel room, in order to enter Taiwan and visit her family.

  We discuss:

  • Eva’s quarantine experience finding great pleasure in a very simple life

  • Kyley’s upcoming in-person retreat, Monster School, and the incredible liberation that happens when you embrace the monstrous, and no longer reject any parts of yourself.

  • The healing components of meditation for those struggling with loved ones who are addicts, as Eva mulls over the creation of a new meditation program

  • Codependency and the balance of holding those you in loving kindness while having boundaries

  • Travel and creating a life by design

Life itself will come in and do its thing, if we let it
— Eva Liao
Releasing the story that there is great value in my own struggle feels like an important part of this easeful molting that is happening in my life.

I set the intention of no longer being attached to my own struggle as a defining characteristic which then allows other stories and other ways of being to just fall off.
